{"id":7927,"date":"2021-08-04T22:10:00","date_gmt":"2021-08-04T22:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/orionhealth.com\/?p=7927"},"modified":"2024-06-04T22:28:47","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T22:28:47","slug":"idaho-health-data-exchange-ihde-partners-with-orion-health-to-migrate-to-a-next-generation-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/orionhealth.com\/global\/media-releases\/idaho-health-data-exchange-ihde-partners-with-orion-health-to-migrate-to-a-next-generation-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"Idaho Health Data Exchange (IHDE) Partners with Orion Health to Migrate to a Next Generation Platform"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Multi-tenanted health information exchange (HIE), powered by Orion Health\u2019s Amadeus platform, to improve health data sharing and population health management across the state<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BOSTON \u2013 July 29, 2021<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/idahohde.org\/\">Idaho Health Data Exchange<\/a>\u00a0(IHDE), Idaho\u2019s statewide designated health information exchange (HIE), is partnering with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/orionhealth.com\">Orion Health<\/a>, a leading global provider of population health management solutions, to migrate IHDE to Orion Health\u2019s state-of-the-art, next generation HIE platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Orion Health will migrate IHDE from its legacy platform, including interface connections and historical data, to the company\u2019s multi-tenant\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/orionhealth.com\/digital-care-record\/\">Amadeus<\/a>\u00a0platform.\u00a0The migration will increase the overall value of the HIE for participants and will help Idaho communities create lasting system-wide improvements in the value of patient care.\u00a0Amadeus is a highly scalable and open platform built on modern technology to securely capture, aggregate and store all types of health data in one place, creating and supporting an innovative health ecosystem.\u00a0The platform is well-positioned to support population health management initiatives and value-based care models, as well as to adapt to new and emerging models of care and extract future value from data collected today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amadeus&#8217; API management layer allows third-party developers to build new capabilities and specialty applications on the platform, which helps to break down data silos and fosters innovation, enabling the best applications to be developed for every healthcare scenario. The migration will also include the deployment of new modules to expand capabilities within the HIE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn 2020, IHDE embarked on a major overhaul and revitalization of its business model, technology stack and services offering,\u201d said Hans Kastensmith, Executive Director of IHDE. \u201cThe majority of this work has been completed and is now being enhanced. As part of the vision and technology stack revitalization, IHDE made the decision to move to the Orion Health Amadeus platform to support our goal of improving the quality and coordination of healthcare in Idaho.
