The Customer

Epworth take a group approach to application procurement, however their growth through hospital acquisition has also substantially grown the number of disparate and diverse applications that they have to support.

Epworth’s ultimate objective of implementing an enterprise integration engine was to leverage their existing IT systems to provide greater synergies, efficiencies and effectiveness in order to optimise business decisions and processes.

The Challenge

The purpose of the implementation was to create integration between iPM Patient Administration System and downstream systems of MedChart, Delegate Meals and EMR. The cost required to maintain and add additional interfaces prompted Epworth to re-evaluate their integration needs and look for a solution that would meet both their current and future requirements.
