Orion Health extends collaboration with Philips to deliver interoperability across the healthcare enterprise

Auckland, New Zealand— Orion Health (OHE:NZX/ASX), a leader in population health management and healthcare integration solutions, today announced an extended agreement with Philips, a leader in health technology. The agreement continues the deployment of the Orion Health Rhapsody Integration Engine across various Philips solutions.

The Orion Health Rhapsody Integration Engine is an easy-to-deploy technology that achieves rapid interoperability between healthcare systems, enabling connected solutions in less time at a lower cost. This technology provides Philips with the secure collection of clinical data from its products such as patient monitoring solutions, which can then feed streamlined data into care provider systems. The use of the Rhapsody platform across Philips solutions demonstrates the versatility of Orion Health’s foundational product.

This agreement extends the longstanding collaboration between Orion Health and Philips. The initial agreement was signed in 2010 and since then, both companies continue to uphold their commitment to assist customers in achieving healthcare transformation and interoperability goals.

“Both organisations have a deep commitment to providing innovative solutions that enable better healthcare outcomes. This collaboration extends our reach both in the U.S. and in other regions where we operate globally,” said Ian McCrae, chief executive officer, Orion Health. “The renewed agreement with Philips significantly expands on the number of products that include Rhapsody.”

“Teaming with global leaders in healthcare technology, like Philips, enables Orion Health to increase its customer reach and credibility and demonstrates the competitive strength and breadth of our software solutions,” said Wayne Oxenham, president of North America, Orion Health.
