Supporting over 228 public hospitals across 15 Local Health Districts (LHDs), eHealth NSW manages digital health infrastructure, analytics, interoperability, cybersecurity, and training for 176,000 personnel serving NSW\u2019s eight million residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network p<\/strong>rovides healthcare to over 30,000 patients annually within the NSW criminal justice and forensic mental health systems. Their services span community, inpatient, and custodial care settings, addressing complex health needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Challenge<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Justice Health<\/strong> faced significant challenges managing inmate healthcare due to fragmented information across care settings, frequent transfers, and evolving treatment plans. The reliance on paper-based systems complicated workflows, leaving clinicians with incomplete records and posing risks to patient safety.
