New Zealand\u2019s\nlargest digital health event this year is hosted at Claudelands, Hamilton from\nWednesday 20 to Friday 22 November. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Orion Health has been powering New Zealand\u2019s Health system since 1993\nwith a range of IT solutions. At HINZ, our team of experts will be available to\nprovide updates and information on our solutions and how they can help provide\nbetter health outcomes to our citizens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What will we be talking about?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, Orion Health is delighted to have nine speakers showcasing\ntheir expertise in various domains of healthcare technology. Amongst the\nimpressive line-up of keynote speakers, we are most looking forward to hearing our\nguest speaker, <strong>Jocelyn Palmer<\/strong>, Connecting Care Programme Manager at NHS\nSouth, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit. Jocelyn has more than 20\nyears\u2019 experience in driving technology programme and will be presenting on\nConnecting Care\u2019s innovative partnership and interoperability programme. This\naward-winning programme is dedicated to using digital solutions to improve\ninformation sharing across health and care organisations in the UK. The\nConnecting Care Programme has evolved to become one of the most advanced shared\ncare and personal health records in the UK. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Orion Health Product Director, <strong>Martin Trepanier <\/strong>will be presenting in the Digital Health Ideas category on Orion Health\u2019s internet-based virtual care solution called <a href=\"https:\/\/orionhealth.com\/\/ca\/products\/rpm\/\">Remote Patient Management (RPM).<\/a> Virtual care demonstrates the potential of new care models on patients\u2019 health and how these new care models can be fully integrated into healthcare services. A patient\u2019s location and mobility will no longer limit the scope or quality of care available and the need to travel to a clinic will no longer prove a barrier for providing effective patient care. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amongst, other Orion Health speakers, <strong>Jens Andreas<\/strong>, Medicines Product\nManager will be presenting on the feasibility and reliability of using <a href=\"https:\/\/orionhealth.com\/\/nz\/knowledge-hub\/industry-insights\/machine-learning-report\/\">Machine Learning<\/a> to automate the\nconversion of sigs from unstructured text to structured information, using\nnatural language processing to integrate this within clinical software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the range of speaking sessions, we are delighted to have several\nOrion Health subject matter experts positioned at our booth for discussions and\ndemos. You can expect to see demonstrations on portal overviews with a focus on\nmobility, <a href=\"https:\/\/orionhealth.com\/\/ca\/products\/rpm\/\">Remote Patient\nManagement<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/orionhealth.com\/\/nz\/products\/medicines\/\">Medicines<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/orionhealth.com\/\/nz\/products\/coordinate\/care-pathways\/\">Care Pathways<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supporting Diversity &amp; Inclusion<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside of the exhibition hall, we are proud to be sponsoring the Women in Health Tech Breakfast \u2013 a focus on Diversity and Inclusion on Thursday 21 at 7.30 am before activities for HINZ commence.
