Last week,\nOrion Health was represented at New Zealand\u2019s largest digital health event,\nHiNZ hosted at Claudelands, Hamilton. With a whole week of conference, seminars,\nworkshops and competitions, it was a busy week for Orion staff, who attended\nHiNZ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orion Health as a Gold Sponsor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This year, as a Gold Sponsor, Orion Health was well represented with two booths situated at the entry of the exhibition hall and branded drink bottles in every delegates bag. Our booth this year was simplistic, bright and had tasteful accents of orange that made our booths visually appealing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\nattendance were 1400 delegates, with an impressive lineup of 350 speakers,\nsharing insights on various topics in digital health. Thanks to our guest speaker,\nJocelyn Palmer<\/strong> for presenting on Connecting Care\u2019s innovative\npartnership and interoperability programme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supporting Women in Health Tech<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Women in Health Tech Breakfast <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

On\nThursday, Orion was proud to sponsor the Women in Health Tech breakfast, which\nhad a great turnout of both men and women supporting diversity and inclusion in\nthe workplace. Guest speakers from Air New Zealand and Deloitte shared inspiring\ninsights on the concept of reverse-mentorship and challenging the status quo\nwhen it comes to promotion of women to senior leadership. We will be sharing\nthese videos with you in the coming weeks, so watch this space! Thank you to Jacqui\nWilliams<\/strong> for welcoming guests on Orion\u2019s behalf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Networking at the world-famous Hobbiton Movie Set<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The conference ended on a high note with a dinner hosted in the enchanting village of Hobbiton. It was every Hobbit fan\u2019s dream, as we were treated to a guided tour of the Shire at dusk followed by a summer harvest festival with Middle-Earth themed food stalls and music, fire performances, hobbits and finally Gandalf. Overall, it was a great night and a wonderful experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
