Chris Hobson
Chief Medical Officer for North America
Dr. Chris Hobson, MD MBA is the Chief Medical Officer and chief privacy Officer with Orion Health. He had key areas of responsibility for the clinical direction of Orion Health products and solutions, and ensures the protection of patient safety and privacy in everything Orion Health does. He is a primary care practitioner and internist certified in healthcare informatics. He has extensive international clinical, technical and policy-level expertise, drawing from his background successfully developing and implementing health information technology globally. He is a regular presenter at industry events internationally; in addition to his responsibilities for patient safety and privacy, he has active interests in care coordination, population health and disease management.

Jason Careless
Chief Technology Officer
Jason joined Orion Health in December 2010, working in London, Scottsdale and a stint in Auckland. As Chief Technology Officer Jason is responsible for Orion’s overall global technology strategy providing technical leadership across the regions and working closely with product and R&D teams to achieve efficient and effective solutions. Jason also owns our relationship with AWS, attaining the status of Advanced Technology Partner and their ISV healthcare competency.

Gary Folker
EVP, North America
Gary is responsible for the strategic planning, ongoing development and growth of Orion Health in North America. He draws from more than 30 years of experience pioneering healthcare technology in Canada.
Prior to joining Orion Health in 2011, Gary was Managing Director for Healthcare with xwave (a Bell Company). While there, he built and managed partnerships. He also drove development of integrated healthcare solutions such as xwaveEMR - a hosted Application Service Provider (ASP) electronic medical record for primary-care physicians in Ontario.
Gary has exemplary credentials that include spearheading the implementation of Canada’s first fully-integrated electronic patient chart; introducing high-volume scanning of patient records into Canada and creating the largest healthcare document-capture facility in North America. Gary has held various senior-management and executive positions, including Chief Operating Officer of a major Canadian health-informatics firm. He has directed development of technology solutions and expanded services that resulted in the introduction into Canada of many leading medical technologies.
Gary is head of the ITAC Health Board, he is a CPHIMS-CA certified professional and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Acadia University.

As SVP of Commercial Operations, Sean Donoghue is responsible for managing the North American finance, legal, and corporate functions, as well as providing support for all other functional teams. The commercial team also has responsibility for managing the external business partnerships with our customers and strategic partners.

Matthew Maennling

Matthew brings more than two decades of IT project delivery, executive leadership and practice management within the Healthcare, Government and Education verticals. Prior to joining Orion Health, Matthew was an Associate Director at Bell Canada, directing the implementation of ASP-based GE Electronic Medical Records systems in Canadian medical clinics. Matthew is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) and graduated from McGill University's Faculty of Education.

Deborah Wahl
SVP, People and Culture, North America
Deborah Wahl oversees all Human Resources functions for the US and Canada. Deborah brings more than 20 years of executive leadership in human resources and operations across various industries and markets. Prior to joining Orion Health, Deborah was the Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Marquette Financial Companies, a $1.4 billion financial/banking institution. Deborah was Vice President, Human Resources for Citation Technologies and Environmental Support Solutions, developers of compliance and risk management software in the environmental, health & safety space, with employees in the US, Canada, China and the UK.
Deborah previously served as President of the Phoenix HR association, National President of the International Paralegal Management Association, and is a frequent guest speaker and lecturer at management conferences around the country. In 2001, she chaired legislative efforts to draft Workplace Violence Legislation, enacted into Arizona law that year. Deborah received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, with highest honors, from the University of Phoenix, and currently holds her SHRM and HRCI certifications.Deborah Wahl

Mark Boudreau

Mark Boudreau is responsible for strategic planing and business development for the regional businesses in both the U.S and Canada. He brings more than 25 years of experience in business development, service leadership and practice development within the IT industry. In his years leading up to Orion Health, Mark was a partner in Accenture, helping a number of leading IT organizations and their clients become more successful. Mark is certified in PMP, ITL and Six Sigma, Human Resource Development and has significant experience in improving client service delivery processes.

Mike Craig

Mike Craig is Vice President, National Solutions for the Canadian business. Mike is located in the Edmonton office and reports directly to Gary Folker. He is responsible for working with the Canadian sales team to put together solutions composed of Orion Health and partner products for strategic sales into Canadian clients.
Mike is an accomplished e-health strategist with more than 20 years’ experience in healthcare informatics. Most recently, he was a director with Price Waterhouse Coopers Canadian Healthcare practice and also held a Director role with Accenture’s Canadian Healthcare practice.

Karen Ewing

Karen Ewing is a seasoned, bilingual marketing executive with more than 30 years of experience. As VP, North American Marketing, she holds a leadership position within the global marketing team where she is responsible for overseeing all marketing efforts for Orion Health in Canada and the United States. Her role is to drive functional marketing in order to support Orion Health marketing strategy and overall business goals. She has held marketing roles with high technology companies like xwave, A Bell Company, Spar Aerospace, and the Canadian Nuclear Association.

Tracey C. Sharma
Director of Sales
As Director of Sales, Tracey focuses on growing and sustaining new business opportunities. Drawing on her deep sales leadership as a healthcare professional with more than 20 years of experience, she has extensive knowledge of the industry, specifically with Information Technology, medical devices, pharmaceutical and hospital sales. Tracey’s strong understanding of clinical workflows and informatics has earned her several sales accolades, most notably, the prestigious Orion Health Global Sales Leader award. Tracey is committed to solving problems while keeping the customers best interest in mind. Tracey holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph, a Diploma in Respiratory Therapy from the Michener Institute, and has been accredited by the Council for Continuing Pharmaceutical Education.
