In BNSSG, health and\nsocial care are provided by three local authorities, one Clinical Commissioning\nGroup, three acute trusts, 85 GP practices, three community partnerships, a\nmental health trust, South Western Ambulance Service plus other commissioned\norganisations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Connecting Care Partnership is a\nshared care record spanning Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire\nthat supports 24 health and care organisations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Having a shared care record enables these\norganisations to manage care better, allowing information to be shared quickly\nand safely. Only authorised staff providing health services across Bristol,\nSouth Gloucestershire and North Somerset can access patient records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Health and care staff\ncan see patient demographics, medications, diagnoses, prescriptions, warnings\nand alerts that help speed up decision-making and prevent unnecessary hospital\nadmissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How the Orion\nHealth Open Platform Technology helped this partnership?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Orion Health was tasked to implement\nan integrated digital care record through its <a href=\"https:\/\/orionhealth.com\/\/nz\/products\/amadeus\/\">Open Platform Technology.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Open Platform Technology enables clinicians and other health and care professionals to access patient records from multiple systems and organisations in a single integrated digital care record.
