Connecting the silos of patient information that have emerged in recent years has proven to be an enormous task for jurisdictions across Canada.
Newfoundland and Labrador, with the assistance of the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information (NLCHI), has quietly solved many of these problems and is well on its way to a system of province-wide, electronic health records. It’s called HEALTHe NL.

In this webinar, led by the NLCHI’s Gillian Sweeney, you can find out how the province is:

• Connecting all sources of pharmacy information
• Integrating hospital EHRs with physician EMRs
• Tying client and patient registries into the system
• Producing a province-wide system for DI and pathology
• Helping physicians, nurses and other clinicians through quick access to integrated information.

Featured Speaker:

Gillian Sweeney - BN, RN, MBA Vice President, Clinical Information Programs & Quality, NLCHI
