The patient summary screen is especially valuable for all clinical staff at Kaweka, displaying critical information such as allergies, conditions, and alerts. With its availability across all PCs, including in the theatre, it adds an important layer of safety to ensure that no crucial details are missed. Overall, having a centralised source of truth has greatly improved both efficiency and patient safety at Kaweka.

The pre-admission activity workbench in Enterprise PAS is a valuable module that allows us to quickly view upcoming pre-admission clinics. This helps us manage staff workload effectively and ensures we have sufficient consumables on hand, especially for orthopaedic patients. The operating theatre overview is another valuable module that provides real-time status updates for admitted patients. This real-time information allows us to better communicate with patients about any potential wait times for their surgery and keep their support informed about the patient’s progress throughout the surgical journey.
