For the past decade, Orion Health has been bringing together customers, partners and peers across the UK’s health tech sector at our annual customer conference, with the aim of sharing best practices and learnings to accelerate the deployment of shared care records.
This year, as we mark the 10th anniversary of our re-named Orion Health Tech Forum, we are dedicating the event to celebrating the significant technological milestones our customers have achieved and looking forward to future developments that will continue to transform patient care.
Reflections and future directions
Our first keynote speaker of the day, John Farenden of Red Kite Health Consulting, will kick us off by discussing the huge impact shared care records can have on patient care. This will be followed by Stephen Beattie and Dr Neil Black highlighting the transformative journey of shared care records as they take us through ten years of triumphs for the Northern Ireland Electronic Care Record.
Katie Dowson will discuss empowering health for all and share how the Doncaster shared care record is being used to tackle digital and social exclusion, while Katie Thorn from Digital Care Hub takes a deep dive into adult social care and the benefits of sharing data between health and social care. Jane Owens from Joined up Care Derbyshire and Jane Bullard from NHS Devon will then share their first-hand experience in compassionate healthcare during a panel discussion on the essential role of end-of-life care planning.
Looking forward to future innovations, we’ll talk to Sarah Pearl from NHS England and Rob Nimmo from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS about where to next for shared care records, go on a guided tour of the latest highlights from our UK customers that are ready to be replicated, and learn about exciting developments in the NHS App and patient engagement space.
Help us shape the next decade of innovations
This year’s forum is not just an event to reflect on past achievements but a platform to forecast and shape the future of shared care records. In the spirit of partnership, interoperability and collaboration, all digital health professionals are welcome to join us and be part of the conversation.
The day will be full of valuable insights and give the opportunity to network with fellow digital health practitioners at a drinks reception in the summer sun, where you can share ideas and collaborate on solutions to inspire your own shared care record projects. Whether you’re looking to get up to speed on the latest innovations or find practical solutions to enhance your current systems, the insights from this year’s Tech Forum will provide the tools and knowledge needed to redefine what’s possible in healthcare technology.
The UK’s Tech Forum 2024 is taking place on Tuesday 11 June at Moor Hall Hotel & Spa, Sutton Coldfield. Visit the registration page to view the full agenda and secure your place now.
