Last week, Orion Health was represented at New Zealand’s largest digital health event, HiNZ hosted at Claudelands, Hamilton. With a whole week of conference, seminars, workshops and competitions, it was a busy week for Orion staff, who attended HiNZ.
Orion Health as a Gold Sponsor
This year, as a Gold Sponsor, Orion Health was well represented with two booths situated at the entry of the exhibition hall and branded drink bottles in every delegates bag. Our booth this year was simplistic, bright and had tasteful accents of orange that made our booths visually appealing.
In attendance were 1400 delegates, with an impressive lineup of 350 speakers, sharing insights on various topics in digital health. Thanks to our guest speaker, Jocelyn Palmer for presenting on Connecting Care’s innovative partnership and interoperability programme.
Supporting Women in Health Tech
On Thursday, Orion was proud to sponsor the Women in Health Tech breakfast, which had a great turnout of both men and women supporting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Guest speakers from Air New Zealand and Deloitte shared inspiring insights on the concept of reverse-mentorship and challenging the status quo when it comes to promotion of women to senior leadership. We will be sharing these videos with you in the coming weeks, so watch this space! Thank you to Jacqui Williams for welcoming guests on Orion’s behalf.
Networking at the world-famous Hobbiton Movie Set
The conference ended on a high note with a dinner hosted in the enchanting village of Hobbiton. It was every Hobbit fan’s dream, as we were treated to a guided tour of the Shire at dusk followed by a summer harvest festival with Middle-Earth themed food stalls and music, fire performances, hobbits and finally Gandalf. Overall, it was a great night and a wonderful experience.
Massive thanks to all our staff who were involved in the planning and execution of our activities at HiNZ. Special thanks to the staff who manned the booth and the Marketing Team for organising and making our presence at HiNZ worthwhile.
