Mia Williams, Senior Carer at Oaklands Rest Home: “We started using CHIE a few months ago. It’s been brilliant all of our residents or majority of our residents have dementia, so it’s really difficult for them when the doctor comes in. If everything is on CHIE they don’t have to remember everything that they need to say. Being able to get their NHS number and just click on there. I’m also a medication lead so knowing all their medications and things they need it just makes it so much easier for me. I think it gives us the benefit of having person-centered care they know that we know everything that we need to know. So, it gives them a good a good basis that we’ve got the care level that their parents or family members require. It’s just a click of a button and everything you need is in front of you is just perfect”Â
